December 2017 - update of this website to take into account the Architecture Specification Issue 6.

History

  • December 2017 - AS6 Demonstration.
  • November 2017 - the Architecture Specification Issue 6 has been made available, essentially consisting in Issue 5 simplifications. Consequently, Guidances and Tutorials have also been updated. A White Paper and an interactive application have been added in the website.
  • December 2016 - AS5 Demonstration.
  • July 2016 - An updated specification, the Architecture Specification Issue 5, has been made available. It integrates clarifications and demonstration feedbacks. A set of guidance is also now available.
  • May 2016 - The Interim DefStan has become a Full Standard.
  • April 2016 - Introduction of tutorials to demonstrate ECOA concepts
  • December 2015 - An updated specification, the Architecture Specification Issue 4, has been made available. It integrates new features such as persistent information management, warm restart capability and driver API.
  • December 2015 - The French BNAE standardization body has published the RG.Aéro 000 973. It is fully interoperable with the DSTAN Interim Standard 00-973.
  • August 2015 - The UK MOD DEFSTAN standardization body has published the Interim Standard 00-973 containing a mature subset of the of the AS Issue 3.
  • April 2015 - An updated specification, the Architecture Specification Issue 3, has been made available. It integrates new features such as fault management and clarifications based on 2014 demonstration feedbacks.
  • September 2014 - matured demonstration system presented to customers and potential users with systems comprised from mixed UK and French platforms; documentation re-structured for better usability
  • November 2013 - more advanced prototype demonstrated with swapping of demonstration components; updated documentation set
  • May 2012 - Initial prototype software system demonstrated & initial documentation set released
  • January 2011 - Work commenced on the joint UK/French European Component Oriented Architecture (ECOA) project
  • January 2008 - Initial study led by French partners
